FIRE?!

Some big steps were taken. We are quite a few steps further. The crate with the machine was slightly damaged when it arrived at the airport in China; two legs protruded from the crate in the photo. It’s difficult for someone in the Netherlands to ask someone in China to construct a support beam underneath the crate. We just hope it makes the flight.

Merthus Bezemer has now joined our team. He set up a sound sales process in no time and provided the website with all kinds of relevant information. Johan Blom, co-initiator of the mask factory, always starts our daily DSM with the question: “What’s on fire the most today?”

The machine is on the way, transportation is tense but seems to be working. What is most on fire now is the search for raw materials. We thought we had a deal, but it was cancelled. The conclusion was that we should immediately buy-in for € 100,000. That means we are looking for extra working capital. That’s how you get in. It is madness on the market

It’s great to see how we get help from our network, though. At the beginning of this year, we won the Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Frontier Challenge 2019 with our textile workshop. The Tommy team immediately got to work with the specs and emailed factories and suppliers in Asia. Fingers crossed, it would be extremely disheartening if the machines were ready to go, but the raw materials were delayed.
